The Red Sharpening Stone is a Japanese stone that has a grit of 1000. This small stone can be used to sharpen gouges and V shaped tools and allows for finer precision than other larger stones. This stone must be soaked before use.
This can be used with the Grey Finishing Stone to polish off tools.
The Arkansas Knife Shaped Stone is used for honing gouges and V shaped tools. The thin stone edge is ideal for removing the burr from very fine tools where other stones may be too large. Light engineering oil should be used with the Arkansas stone, such as 3-In-One. This is a Genuine Arkansas Stone which is among the finest and strongest stones.
This stone is also available in a set with other shaped Arkansas stones.

The Flexcut SlipStrop is an easy way for maintaining the tools razor edge. The SlipStrop has been specially moulded to allow for polishing and deburring the hard to reach areas on the inside of V-tools and gouges as well as the outside edge bevel. The SlipStrop includes a small bar of Flexcut Gold polishing compound, which has been specially formulated to quickly polish hardened steel. Sharpening instructions are included.

The Japanese Combination Waterstone can be used to sharpen cutting tools and knife tools. Frequent use of these high quality waterstones will guarantee that the tools edge will always be at its best. Their soft bonds allow for a fresh abrasive surface that can be continually exposed with proper care.
Before use the Japanese Combination Waterstone must be soaked in water for at least 15 minutes. After use the debris must be washed off. This stone comes with two levels of grit, 3000 the yellow side and 1000 the blue side.

The dark stone has the roughest surface and it to be used on the other stones to level the surfaces after extensive use.
